Founded by Günther Hennerici, Eifelland began producing caravans in the 1960s. In 1964, the brand began exporting its products, and in 1967, it moved to a new factory, producing 1,200 units that year. Eifelland's strategy was based on productivity, efficiency and cost reduction, which allowed it to offer relatively low prices. For example, in the mid-1960s, an Eifelland caravan cost around 2,000 marks, or around 2,500 francs at the time, while competing models were often more expensive.
In the 1970s, Eifelland expanded its reputation by sponsoring Formula 3 and Formula 2 teams, and even entered Formula 1 in 1972 with the Eifelland Racing team.
Eifelland offered a diverse range of caravans and motorhomes, suitable for different needs and budgets. Notable models include:
Prices for Eifelland vehicles vary depending on the model, year and general condition. For example, a 2001 Eifelland caravan can be had for €6,500, although prices can vary depending on the equipment included and the condition of the vehicle.
